Use the following procedure for connecting the Autosampler to the KinExA® 3200:

  1. Attach a Union to the Autosampler Buffer Line, then remove the Instrument Buffer Line from Port 1 on the Sample Selection Valve (Figure 1).
  2. Connect the Buffer Lines together via the Union (Figure 2) and route the excess Line through the upper left Tubing Support (Figure 3).
  3. Disconnect the Flow Cell Line from the bottom of the 4-way Connector (Figure 4).
  4. Remove the White Ferrule and 1/4-28 Black Nut and add a 10-32 Tan Nut and Tan Ferrule to the Line.
  5. Connect the Flow Cell and Autosampler Sample Line together through a Union (Figure 5). Route the Tubing through the upper left Tubing Support on the KinExA (Figure 6).
NOTE: See Figures 7 & 8 for proper Ferrule installation.

Ferrule Installation Instructions

The White Ferrule slides onto the Tubing with the tapered end toward the Nut and the flared end toward the Valve Port. The Tan Ferrule slides onto the Tubing with the tapered end toward the end of the Tubing and the flat end toward the Nut. When installing and tightening these fittings, be sure to push the Tubing all of the way into the Valve Ports (Figures 7 & 8).
